Project Immersed at PHI Center
On June 3 and 4, Project Immersed + PHI Centre co-conducted a sound escapade unlike any other. A full weekend experience dedicated to the exploration of the transformative power of music and sound with Deep Listening Experiences curated by world class artists in PHI’s New Fully Immersive Sound Space, Habitat Sonore. Best Music + Wellness + Tech
2024 Range Rover Sport SV
JLR changed the game this year by blending wellness, music, and tech. The 2024 Range Rover Sport SV introduced unique features that promise to reduce anxiety for both drivers and passengers while also providing a music experience like no other. Land Rover has taken a health-centric approach in designing the SUV's seats to reduce anxiety levels while driving while also giving passengers a deeper connection to the music and sound played within the vehicle. They partnered with health experts and psychologists to understand the psychological triggers that drivers and passengers face while traveling. Utilizing this insight, they partnered with SUBPAC to engineer the seats to provide a sense of calm and relaxation. We look forward to more innovation in the automotive industry in 2024!

Project Immersed stimulated our minds throughout the year with captivating dialogues highlighting the transformative power of music and sound. Topics ranged from the art of deep listening to the sacred roots of sound system culture, psychedelics, and more. Here's our favorites!
Sonic Consciousness
In this episode, Project Immersed took a closer look at the art of deep listening. They explored the role of sound environments and their impact on our individual and collective well being, giving rise to the question, what is sonic consciousness? How can it enhance our experience of ourselves, our relations and the world around us?
Sacredness of Sound System Culture
In this exclusive one-on-one interview, we tuned into the sacred roots of sound system culture. Starting at the early roots of reggae sound system gatherings and the history of the enslaved African people who brought these sounds and traditions to Jamaica. Then weaving our way through time to uncover the ritualistic, scientific, and spiritual facets that make up the foundation of sound system culture and have paved the way for how it appears today.
Sound, Psychedelics, + Altered States of Consciousness
Tuning back into the emerging world of Sound, Psychedelics & Altered States of Consciousness with a focus on the role that music and sound play in these transformative experiences. We are truly at the crux of a psychedelic renaissance, and in this episode, we focused on some of the ways that artists and musicians can get involved with this movement as well as the future potentials of combining these therapeutics with technologies such as XR and VR.
